Korean Style Shrimp Popcorn

Servings: 2–3 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Octorika Shrimp Popcorn
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Chopped spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions:

  1. Remove the Octorika Shrimp Popcorn from the freezer and allow it to rest for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan or preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  3. Cook the shrimp popcorn until crispy and golden brown.
  4. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil and sauté the chopped garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add gochujang sauce, honey, and soy sauce into the pan. Mix well until the sauce becomes smooth and glossy.
  6. Add the cooked shrimp popcorn into the sauce and toss gently until all pieces are evenly coated.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl or plate.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions before serving.

Serving Suggestion:

Best enjoyed as a spicy Korean-inspired snack alongside ramen, fried rice, or chilled beverages.
