Crispy Butterfly Shrimp with Spicy Mayo Dip

Servings: 2–3 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Octorika Butterfly Shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onions
  • Lemon wedges for garnish
  • Oil for frying (if deep frying)

Instructions:

  1. Remove the Octorika Butterfly Shrimp from the freezer and allow it to rest at room temperature for 2–3 minutes.
  2. If using an air fryer, preheat it to 180°C for around 3–5 minutes.
  3. Arrange the butterfly shrimp evenly inside the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through for even cooking.
  4. If deep frying, heat oil in a pan and fry the shrimp until crispy and golden on both sides.
  5. While the shrimp cooks, prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Transfer the crispy butterfly shrimp to a serving plate.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions and lemon wedges.
  8. Serve hot with the spicy mayo dip on the side.

Serving Suggestion:

Best enjoyed as a party snack, movie-night appetizer, or evening finger food.
